on Phonics and more.
In 1989 Gateway Educational Products
contacted us design, manufacture and assemble the Hooked on Phonics
program. Since
that time we have produced over 3 million programs for Gateway,
duplicating over
40,000,000 audio cassettes and 2,000,000 video cassettes. Along
with duplicating all of the media for the products, we also offset printed
over 25,000,000 workbooks!
Every aspect of product development was handled by Multi- Media / Duplication4Less
including packaging design, graphic design, manufacturing and project management of
Gateway's full line of products including:
- Hooked on Phonics
- Hooked on Phonics Classroom Edition
- Hooked on Phonics Retail kit
- Hooked on Phonics Starter kit
- Hooked on Math
- Classic Achievement series
- We the People
- Hooked on Phonics Writing kit
- The new "Learn to Read" program
Each product was painstakingly developed to
maximize its perceived value to the consumer while minimizing costs and returns.
| Hooked on Phonics
The Hooked on Phonics program consists of over 40 components including 13 Audio
Cassettes and 1 Video Cassette. The program is packaged in a brief case style shipping
carton with two easy to use vinyl albums. |

Classroom Edition The
Classroom Edition was developed using a chipboard box and 9 Audio Cassettes, providing
teachers with multiple sets for each classroom study. The Classroom Edition also came with
an oversized flash card set with easel. |
| Hooked on Phonics Retail The
Hooked on Phonics Retail kit was designed for educational stores, our challenge was to
lower cost while maintaining value. The kit was packaged in a brief case display box with
13 Audio Cassettes and 1 Video Cassette |

Hooked on Phonics Starter Kit The
Starter Kit was designed to fit into a Toy’s R Us retail end cap environment,
utilizing a clam shell peg hook design and a single Audio Cassette. |

Hooked on Phonics, the Hooked on Math kit also utilized a brief case type shipping carton
with a child friendly vinyl album. This kit consisted of over 25 components including 8
Audio Cassettes. |

Classic Achievement Series The goal
for the Classic Achievement series was to develop a product that would scream quality. We
utilized a book style turned-edge gold album with foil stamping. The effect was very rich.
Three books and three Audio Cassettes were decorated with full color labels and beautiful
4-color art work. |
| We The People To
create a unique look for the We the People program, we utilized a new process of printing
4-color images directly on vinyl. The vinyl is then sealed to a album to hold the 16 Audio
Cassettes and single workbook |

Writing Kit Multi
Media created a unique alphabet flip chart on the left hand side of the board to allow the
student to practice all of the letters of the alphabet. The writing kit consists of the
board, sticker sheet, pen and instruction booklet. |
